DESCRIPTION:
This new 44,000 square foot two story outpatient diagnostic center was a collaborative effort between the developer, Carolina Investment Properties, the shell building architect and Wright McGraw Beyer Architects. Our firm's responsibility was for the planning, design and construction of the interior build out of this project.
The program includes two mammography rooms, two fluoroscopy rooms, a chest x-ray room, Densitometry Room, CT Scan and MRI located on the first floor of the building. All of the diagnostic rooms are organized around a centralized staff core with perimeter circulation for patients. The arrangement eliminates staff and patient circulation cross circulation and improves staff efficiency in moving from treatment to treatment rooms.
The Second Floor provides new corporate offices for FRA which has several satellite facilities in the area. A large, secured Information Systems area is provided to serve the entire network for the business. The corporate office suite features a large, dramatic conferencing center and support spaces including a business office area designed to support 20 staff cubicles.
