PROJECT SHOWCASE
A design project involves managing millions of bits of information. Your architect must have the tools necessary to communicate and coordinate detailed information to all team members. Wright McGraw Beyer utilizes Room Data Sheets as a listening and communication tool.

THE PROCESS
Once a schematic floor plan is established, our team begins their study of how each individual room will function. We begin by meeting with the users to thoroughly discuss activities that will occur in the room, collecting data such as finishes, door sizes, hardware requirements, equipment and furnishings. All of this information is documented on our electronic data-based Room Data Sheet. Located behind each sheet are all of the equipment product data sheets for equipment located in the room.
The next step develops a Room Data Sheet Plan. At an enlarged scale, our team locates each piece of equipment, all furnishings, outlets, and wall hung items such as paper towel dispensers. This process carefully coordinates how the room will efficiently function for patients and staff.
When complete, each room is again carefully reviewed with the end users for their approval and sign-off. The result is a room carefully designed and coordinated to exact specifications. Room Data Sheets are then forwarded to our engineering team as a very powerful communication tool for coordinating utilities and equipment.
