Managing Principals

Todd R. McGraw
AIA, NCARB, LEED AP

 

Todd McGraw holds a Master’s in Architecture from the Health & Architecture Program at Clemson University.  He joined a Charlotte firm in 1982 and rose to Principal and Vice President of Architecture.  Mr. McGraw has over 30  years of healthcare planning and design experience and is NCARB Certified.  He holds LEED AP credentials, and is the North Carolina Chair for the Southern Atlantic Region Architecture for Health Annual Conference.  He is involved academically as a member of the Piedmont Community College Architectural Advisory Committee, and has been a guest lecturer of the Graduate  Architecture Program at Clemson University.

John M. Beyer
AIA, NCARB

 

John Beyer is a graduate from the University Of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Architecture & Urban Planning, receiving his Masters Degree in 1983.  John began his career in early 1984 when he moved to Charlotte and joined the healthcare planning firm of Peterson Associates, where he rose to the position of Vice President.  His career has been dedicated solely to the planning, design and construction of Healthcare and Bio-Tech projects. He has designed over one hundred Medical Office Clinics and offers a high level of expertise in clinic design. He is NCARB Certified and also serves as the firm’s Director of Business Development.

Principals

Damian Huneycutt
AIA, NCARB, Architectural Studio Director

 

Damian Huneycutt is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, College of Arts & Architecture holding a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture as well as a Bachelor of Architecture Degree.  Damian joined Wright McGraw Beyer Architects in 2002 as an Architectural Intern and has developed into the role of Principal and Architectural Studio Director, directly overseeing the day to day activities of the studio by providing mentoring, design, and support on projects.  He is involved academically with UNCC’s COA & A as a guest critic for midterm and end of year reviews, and is the Cub Master for Pack 13 of the local Cub Scouts.

Wendy Ferlisi
IIDA, NCIDQ, Director of Interior Design

 

Wendy Ferlisi has over 30 years of experience in various projects and sizes with extensive healthcare experience. She works with repeat customers on large hospitals and medical office building renovations, expansions and upfits.  Wendy is also an interior design industry leader and is invited to consult with manufacturers on interior trends to provide products for the healthcare industry. She guides the client through the design process with selection of interior components, conveying ideas through presentation medium, collaborating with the design team, and working within the project budget.
