Atrium Health Pineville – Parking Deck

About This Project

The Atrium Health – Pineville Parking Deck is a new 8-tier precast concrete structure built as part of the Phase III Campus Growth Plan. This project was implemented using the modern construction method of integrated project delivery. Due to the plastic nature of the site’s soils, the open parking deck sits on a foundation held in place by piles made of steel salvaged from retired pipe from oil rigs. Each tier can park an average of 110 cars, allowing the building to park up to 779 cars at maximum capacity. The deck is designed for staff parking, with the ability to change to patient/visitor parking in the future. This addition to the campus will provide the necessary infrastructure to accommodate the area’s growth in local healthcare.
