This project is a new shell Medical Office Building and upfit designed to serve Carolina Pain Institute located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The new building is a replacement building to accommodate the Clinics growth, new service lines, improved Patient care, and Staff efficiencies. The shell building is designed as a separate package to expedite construction. The Clinic interior design utilizes a “core forward” concept which locates the public core stairs and elevators at the front of the building. This allows a clear span of uninterrupted space across the entire width of the building. Clinic Patient and Staff flow has been carefully studied to improve the Patients experience, reduce wait times, improve registration, and increase Staff efficiency.
