Lake Norman Regional Cath Lab Replacement

About This Project

This project involved converting an existing storage space into a Cath Lab for a new, state of the art Bi-Plane system with an equipment boom and surgical lights. The design also included a new Equipment Room and Control Room. Blue accent lighting was provided to give a soothing glow to the space. This was complemented by the blue tinted glass doors that were back-lit for the Equipment Room. The existing Cath Lab space was converted into a new Holding Area with three Patient Bays, Patient Toilet Room, Storage Room, and Staff Support Room. This allowed for less travel distance for the patients before and after their procedure, increasing patient safety and satisfaction.
