Novant Health – SouthEast Pain Center

About This Project

This project is a new 6,000 square foot Pain Center located in a one story Medical Office Building. Wright McGraw Beyer Architects was charged with gutting the existing wood framed structure and designing a modern office that provides easier access for Pain Care Services in the region. The project consists of Waiting, Check-In and Check-Out, a series of Exam Rooms, Treatment Rooms, and a Fluoroscopy Treatment Room equipped with a C-arm. A Stretcher Bay was strategically located adjacent to the Treatment Rooms in order to provide full visibility from the Nurse Station. A Nurse Station on the Exam side was positioned adjacent to the Nurse Station of the Treatment side to promote staff efficiency. The layout of the space was designed to provide one-way flow from Reception to Exam, Treatment and Stretcher Bays, eventually ending adjacent to the Waiting and Patient Discharge exit. An inexpensive interiors budget was maximized providing a bright and cheerful paint color scheme with exciting floor patterns.
